New Warren County restaurant brings unique breakfast, lunch options

A national franchise specializing in breakfast, lunch and brunch is making its Ohio debut with a new location in Warren County.

Le Peep, located at 3298 Montgomery Road in Deerfield Twp., serves breakfast, brunch and lunch and offers a wide variety of foods from the standards to more unique items like salmon benedict and breakfast burritos.

Kate Wessel, co-owner of the Le Peep’s licensing, said Le Peep was “the originator of the breakfast-and-lunch concept.”

She said everything in each Le Peep location is made fresh and as fast as possible.

“We make it all in house and we source from local vendors as much as we can,” she said. “Like in Ohio, something I don’t have on my menu in any other state is goetta. That is very popular out there, so we source that from a local butcher.”

Breakfast beginnings include buns, blintzes, oatmeal, a breakfast banana split and a Cinnamonster, a warm cinnamon roll covered in cream cheese frosting.

“Hen House” items feature multiple variations on eggs, including chicken fried steak served with two eggs and a Rock Lobster Scramble, a scrambled eggs dish served with a lobster seafood blend, brie cheese and a touch of dill, topped with diced tomatoes and served with hollandaise sauce, potatoes and a choice of English muffin.

The menu also features various versions of griddle goods like pancakes, french toast and waffles, as well an array of panhandled skillet dishes, omelets, eggs benedict, sandwiches, crepes, salads and burgers.

Le Peep’s Hand-Crafted Angus Burger is seared and cooked, then served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato and onion garnish.

South of the Border menu items include enchiladas, tacos and burritos.

Founded in Aspen, Colo. in 1963, Le Peep first expanded its concept into the Denver area in 1982 and then nationally, first as a franchisor and then through a licensing model.

Le Peep has 50 locations nationwide, including Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, South Carolina and Tennessee.
