Presidential poll shows Ohio battleground state once again

A new poll shows Ohio is back to being a battleground state in the Presidential race.

Hillary Clinton carries a slight advantage with 41% while Donald Trump is right behind her with 38%. Gary Johnson, the Libertarian candidate has 7 % while Jill Stein of the Green Party came in with 6%.

The poll was conducted by the University of Akron.

Political analyst Dr. Mark Caleb Smith of Cedarville University said Ohio is certainly in play.

“We saw a few weeks ago Trump is ahead. Mrs. Clinton seemed to be pulling out. Now it’s effectively tied within the margin of error so Ohio is once again a battleground state,” Smith said.
