Obama heads to ballpark for Democratic retreat

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama takes part Wednesday in a Democratic Party event at Nationals Park.
The Democratic Senate Caucus Retreat at the home of the Washington Nationals baseball team is closed to reporters.
Earlier in the day, the president meets in the White House with senior advisers. In the afternoon he sits down in the Oval Office with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
