Longtime Oxford law firm moving to new shopping center

Robinson & Jones Co., LPA is moving from its longtime offices on West Park Place to a new shopping center.

The full-service law firm will occupy approximately 2,200 square feet at Bishop Square, a 50,000-square-foot mixed use development at 419 Locust Street.

The firm was established in 1994 and co-founder Jim Robinson has been practicing law in Oxford for 43 years.

“We were just looking for a little bit more of an updated space,” said Tara Jones, the firm’s partner. “We were looking for some free parking for our clients, as opposed to the meters uptown. It wasn’t that we were unhappy in any way with where we are now.”

Robinson & Jones also has a location in West Chester Twp. at 9078 Union Centre Blvd., which it opened in 2016.

The law firm, which signed a 10-year lease for the new Oxford site, plans to move there in February, Jones said. The new space accounts for half of the top floor at Bishop Square, which includes 272 units of student housing. Signed for the site are Marco’s Pizza, Tim Hortons, Sprint and First Financial Bank.

“We’re excited that the tenants will all soon be open and that Robinson & Jones is … a long-standing firm in Oxford, and the fact they are taking brand new space is just another testament to the vibrancy of our project,” said Joshua Rothstein, of Blue Ash-based OnSite Retail Group, which is representing the landlord for the site.

Rothstein said OnSite Retail Group has two spaces left in the Bishop Square project and is in talks with a restaurant group for one of them.
