UDF to invest $3.5 million in Clearcreek Twp.

United Dairy Farmers expects to spend more than $3.5 million and employ about 50 workers at a fuel depot and convenience store-gas station to be built about a mile apart in Warren County.

Workers have already begun clearing the site for the company’s new 2,200 square foot depot for UDF’s fuel hauling fleet on 3.3 acres across Ohio 122 from the fuel terminal in Clearcreek Twp., north of Lebanon. The facility would be home base for 20 drivers and about five staffers operating the depot.

UDF also plans to begin work this year on a new store west of the depot in Red Lion, a small town south of Springboro in Clearcreek Twp. The $3 million store will employ 20 to 30 employees, company officials said.
