Sprinklers interrupt Reds vs. Indians preseason game

Cincinnati Reds Manager Bryan Price told MLB.com it wasn't the first time that the sprinkler system activated unexpectedly and interrupted a pre-season game.

"It's at least the second or third time since I've been coming out here where it's popped off in the middle of the ballgame," MLB.com quoted Price regarding the eighth-inning stoppage Saturday at Goodyear Ballpark in Arizona.

The game was briefly delayed as players and the field were sprayed until the sprinklers could be turned off.

The Reds were playing the Indians, who went on to an 8-2 victory.
