There is no active investigation, unless someone with addition information comes forward, according to Maj. Mike Craft.

In a 911 call, a man hiking long Seven Mile Creek, said, “I have found a human skull, a dead body.”

Eversole’s mother, Violet Taylor, reported her son missing on April 18, 2016, according to the sheriff’s office report. Taylor said she had not heard from Eversole since the morning of April 14, when he said he was heading to court in Hamilton.

Taylor said it was unusual for her son not to contact family members. Eversole’s cell phone last pinged at 9:24 p.m. on a tower on Riverside Drive in the New Miami area, according to the report.

Taylor told police Eversole had attempted suicide in the past and had been displaying possible mental health issues.

According to court records, Eversole was scheduled to be in court for a hearing on a drug charge on April 14.
