New wings, burger restaurant opens today in Liberty Twp.

A newly constructed Buffalo Wings & Rings restaurant opens today, Dec. 21, in Liberty Twp.

The company’s new franchisee-owned, 5,915-square-foot standalone restaurant is located at 6963 South Liberty Drive, on the corner of Yankee Road and Cincinnati-Dayton Road.

“That area is just a real hot area right now,” said co-owner John Gerbus. “It’s just a great opportunity with everything going on. The visibility along (Ohio) 129 and Cincinnati-Dayton Road is fantastic because you can see it from all point — north, south, east and west.”

Another selling point to that location was its proximity to Cincinnati Children's Liberty Campus and to Lakota East High School, Gerbus said.

“We like to be around high schools because we’re more of a family-friendly restaurant,” he said.

Buffalo Wing and Rings touts itself as “the ultimate sports restaurant franchise.”

This is the fourth Buffalo Wings & Rings for Gerbus, of Milford, and the seventh for co-owner Todd Fetter, of Waynesfield.

The new building includes bright dining rooms and a menu that includes fresh-never-frozen wings, burgers, homemade Bleu Cheese, gyros, wraps, salads, sandwiches and quesadillas.

Founded in 1984 in Cincinnati, Buffalo Wings & Rings operates more than 70 restaurants, including locations in Monroe, Fairfield and a location that Gerbus and Fetter opened in Deerfield Twp. in November 2015.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

Applications to be one of its 60 to 65 employees are still being accepted at the restaurant. For more information, visit www.buffalowingsandrings.com.
