Middletown apartment fire displaces 2 adults, 2 children

Two adults and two children have to find another place to stay after they were displaced Wednesday night when a cooking fire broke out at their Middletown apartment.

The fire was reported around 9:20 p.m. in a two-story, four-unit building in the 1400 block of Villa Court.

“It was a kitchen fire. Crews extinguished the fire within 10 minutes,” Deputy Chief David Adams of the Middletown Division of Fire said.

Damage was estimated at less than $10,000, he said. No injuries were reported.
