Butler County roads still problem-free

Although freezing rain advisories have been pushed for counties north of Warren County, police agencies from around Butler County and the Ohio State Highway Patrol are still reporting there have been no problems on the roads due to the weather.

Dispatchers in Middletown said the roads are just wet, and no accidents have been reported. The highway patrol reported the roads are still clear and accident-free this afternoon.

The Butler County sheriff’s dispatch center said there are no weather-related problems as of 12:30 p.m. The temperatures are expected to rise throughout the afternoon.

Warnings of possible ice storms pushing through the greater Cincinnati area came out yesterday and while the county is still under an advisory from the National Weather Service the storm appears to have missed Butler County. The current alert for inclement weather in Butler and Warren counties expires at 1 p.m.
