No serious injuries after Hamilton home's roof caves in

UPDATE @ 2:16 p.m.: There were no serious injuries this afternoon when the ceiling of a residence in the 500 block of 12th Street fell in.

But Julia Beltre will have a lot of clean up from the drywall and plaster littering the room. Two juveniles receive minor cuts and scrapes, she said.

INITIAL REPORT:

Emergency crews are responding to a reported building collapse in Hamilton.

The building is a residence located in the 500 block of 12th Street, according to dispatchers.

Initial reports indicate the ceiling of the structure has fallen.

There were no initial reports of entrapment.

We have a crew heading to the scene and will continue to bring you more information.
