Boy runs into side of van, taken to hospital

MIDDLETOWN — A 10-year-old boy was transported to the hospital after he ran into the side of a moving van.

The accident occurred at about 4 p.m. Friday. Police said the boy saw his mother leaving on Armco Drive near the intersection of Shartle Street and was running toward her when he ran into the side of a white Dodge minivan.
