Vectren Dayton Air Show weather forecast: Expect drier weekend

After record-breaking rainfall Friday, a drier weekend is expected, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said.

SEE: Latest 5-day forecast

Although a few isolated showers may pass by Saturday and Sunday afternoon, the forecast appears to be decent enough to allow the planes to fly at the Vectren Dayton Air Show.

Both days will be cooler than normal, with temperatures in the mid- to upper 70s, chance of an isolated shower in the afternoon and breezy at times.

The UV index both days will be very high, so remember to wear the sunblock and reapply frequently.
