HAMILTON — This year’s Barkfest is set for Saturday, Sept. 26 at the Animal Friends Humane Society, 1820 Princeton Road, Hamilton. Dog Walk Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m., and the walk begins at 10 a.m. Other activities are planned from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., including contests, raffles, pet pictures and more. The Sheriff K-9 Unit will make up a few of the furry attendants. Refreshments will be available.
The event is free, but a goodie bag and lunch will be given to anyone who raises $25. An additional $25 earns participants a limited edition T-shirt. Download a pledge form at www.animalfriendshs.org.
