Here’s the list of Butler County township roads being paved this year

More than $6 million in road paving projects covering more than 68 miles is being coordinated with Butler County townships by the engineer’s office.

Township paving program costs and total miles include:

FAIRFIELD TWP.: $668,819 / 4.1 miles

  • Millikin Road paving repairs and resurfacing just west of Morris Road; estimated cost is $2,497 funded by BCEO.
  • Morris Road asphalt resurfacing 1.1 miles from Tylersville Road to Hamilton Mason Road; estimated cost is $129,736 and will be funded by Fairfield Twp.
  • Princeton Road resurfacing and pavement repairs between Jayfield Drive to Ohio 747; estimated cost $54,796 and will be funded by BCEO.
  • Vinnedge Road asphalt resurfacing 0.9 mile between Seward Road and Hamilton Mason Road; estimated cost is $160,928 funded by Fairfield Twp.
  • Fairfield Twp. is also planning to spend $320,862 for asphalt resurfacing of 2.1 miles of various township and subdivision streets.

LIBERTY TWP.: $864,418 / 8.8 miles

  • LeSourdsville West Chester Road asphalt resurfacing 1 mile between Millikin to Kyles Station Road; estimated cost is $121,718 and will be funded by Liberty Twp.
  • Millikin Road asphalt resurfacing 0.9 mile between Cincinnati Dayton Road to Butler Warren Road; estimated cost is $126,722 and will be funded by Liberty Twp.
  • Yankee Road asphalt resurfacing 0.3 mile from Princeton Road to south of Devon Drive; estimated cost is $53,264 funded by BCEO.
  • Yankee Road asphalt resurfacing 0.5 mile between Linn Road to Hankins Road; estimated cost is $70,539 funded by Liberty Twp.
  • Liberty Twp. will be spending $405,569 to asphalt resurfacing 2.9 miles of township and subdivision streets as well as spending $86,606 to black mat seal resurfacing 3.2 miles of other township and subdivision streets.

WEST CHESTER TWP.: $2,000,600 / 21.3 miles

  • Barret Road asphalt resurfacing 2.1 miles from Station Road to Cox Road; estimated cost is $201,106.
  • West Chester Road asphalt resurfacing 0.8 mile from Congress Court to U.S. 42; estimated cost is $74,732 funded by West Chester Twp.
  • West Chester Twp. is planning asphalt resurfacing of 12.4 miles of various township and subdivision streets; estimated cost is more than $1.59 million funded by the township.
  • In addition, the township is also planning black mat seal resurfacing of six miles of various township and subdivision streets; the estimated cost is $195,469 funded by the township.

ROSS TWP.: $79,502 / 7.4 miles

  • Fenton Road chip seal resurfacing 1.2 miles between Morgan Ross Road and Ohio 748; estimated cost $37,349 funded by Ross Twp.
  • Ross Twp. will be spending about $66,348 to resurface 1.6 miles of various township and subdivision streets with black mat seal.

MADISON TWP.: $315,858 / 4.7 miles

  • Dickey Road asphalt resurfacing 1.5 miles between West Alexandria Road to Kalbfleisch Road; estimated cost is $96,159 funded by Madison Twp.
  • Elk Creek Road chip seal resurfacing 1.5 miles between Ohio 122 and West Alexandriia Road; estimated costs is $81,000 funded by BCEO.
  • Hinkle Road resurfacing and pavement repairs between Hetzler Road to the Montgomery County line; estimated cost is $7,810 funded by Madison Twp.
  • Howe Road asphalt resurfacing 0.9 mile between Wayne Madison Road to Elk Creek Road; estimated cost is $65,128 funded by Madison Twp.
  • Michael Road resurfacing and pavement repairs between Ohio 122 and Hetzler Road; estimated cost $14,355 funded by Madison Twp.
  • Pleasant Hill Cemetery, asphalt resurfacing 0.1 mile of various roads; estimated cost is $6,557 funded by Madison Twp.
  • Thomas Road asphalt resurfacing 0.7 mile between Sloebig Road and Middletown Germantown Road; estimated cost is $44,849 funded by Madison Twp.

HANOVER TWP.: $640,035 / 8.4 miles

  • Krucker Road black mat seal resurfacing 1.5 miles between Ohio 130 and Stillwell Beckett Road; estimated cost is $34,693 funded by Hanover Twp.
  • Rahfuse Avenue asphalt resurfacing 0.1 mile between Stahlheber Road to Pearle Lane; estimated cost is $10,757 funded by Hanover Twp.
  • Salman Road chip seal resurfacing 0.4 mile between Stillwell Road to dead end; estimated cost is $35,544 funded by Hanover Twp.
  • Stahlheber Road asphalt resurfacing 3.6 miles between U.S. 27 and Hamilton corporation limit; estimated cost is $372,360 funded by BCEO.
  • Washburn Road asphalt resurfacing 0.2 mile from Ohio 177 to bridge; estimated cost is $15,772 funded by Hanover Twp.
  • In addition, Hanover Twp. will be spending $43,868 black mat resurfacing 0.7 mile of various township and subdivision streets.
  • Another 1.9 miles of various township and subdivision streets will receive black mat seal at an estimated cost of $127,041 that will be funded by the township and federal CDBG grant.

OXFORD TWP.: $166,348 / 1.6 miles

  • Village of College Corner, roadway paving of U.S. 27, Poplar, High and Walnut streets; estimated cost $100,000 funded through CDBG grant and also includes sidewalk replacement.
  • Oxford Twp. will be spending about $66,348 to resurface 1.6 miles of various township and subdivision streets with black mat seal.

  • George Road chip seal resurfacing 1.7 miles between Schardin Road to Okeana Drewersburg Road; estimated cost is $106,099 funded by Morgan Twp.
  • Layhigh Road asphalt resurfacing 7.3 miles between Ohio 126 and Chapel Road; estimated cost is $773,392 funded by BCEO.
  • Layhigh Road chip seal repair 1 mile between Chapel Road and North Wynn Road; estimated cost is $30,162 funded by Morgan Twp.
  • Morgan Ross Road chip seal resurfacing 0.5 mile between Ohio 748 and Layhigh Road; estimated cost is $37,661.
