FAIRFIELD — Olive Garden has completed a redesign inspired by farmhouses in Tuscany, Italy, and to celebrate, the Fairfield restaurant is hosting wine tasting events.

Olive Garden wine specialists will be on hand from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight and Nov. 16 and Nov. 17 and will lead wine tasting events. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the origins, flavors and food pairings of a selection of Italian wines, according to a news release. A sample costs $.25.

The remodel includes new window treatments, hand-painted pottery, and chairs and booths “inspired by the warm, rustic tones and design elements of a farmhouse in Tuscany.” Exterior updates include fresh paint and new signage, according to a news release.
