FAIRFIELD TWP. - The Wine Guy Wine Shop, Wine Bar & Bistro plans to open a 6,300-square-foot store at Bridgewater Falls Lifestyle Shopping Center in the first quarter of 2012.
The retail-restaurant hybrid will be located next to Mattress Firm, and feature an outdoor patio, restaurant, wine bar and wine shop.
The Bridgewater Falls location will be the second in the Cincinnati-area and fifth in Ohio for owner Craig Decker.
The Wine Guy brings “an enriching experience” to the community where people can learn about wine and enjoy great food in an unpretentious atmosphere, according to Chris Phillips, a leasing representative at Phillips Edison & Company, which owns Bridgewater Falls.
“This is a true destination restaurant and a dual use for both us and the community, a first class wine store and an upscale dining experience in one,” Phillips said. “We are thrilled to deliver this to our shopper.”
The Wine Bar will allow guests to enjoy a bottle or glass of wine from their Wine Shop or one of eight flights of wine from a wine menu. A flight includes a sampling of four varieties of wine that is updated quarterly with new wines to try.
The Wine Shop will feature a wide selection of gifts and accessories including gift bags, foil cutters, bottle openers, bottle stoppers, glass charms, chillers, wine preservers and much more.
The bistro will be open for dinner and lunch with different menus for both serving a few of their personal favorite dishes, as tapas, or small plates, which deliver an individual, sample-size portion.
For those who want more of their favorite menu item, dinner portions will also be also available.
