Daytime temperatures will reach the mid 50s today, March 16 and hit the 60s the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Meterologist Jim Lott said sunny skies will be around today, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He predicted a high in the 60s every day, and lows in the 30s at night.

There’s a 40-percent chance of showers this weekend with temperatures in the mid 60s.
