OXFORD — Synchronized skating teams from 12 states will come to Miami University March 27-28 as the university hosts for the first time the International Skating Institute Synchronized Skating Championships.
The event at Goggin Ice Center will showcase more than 100 teams consisting of more than 1,000 skaters of all ages from 4 years to 81 years old.
The competition event schedule spans more than 25 hours over two days of competition.
Viewing is free and open to the public.
Events include synchronized formation compulsories and formation teams, synchronized skating compulsories and skating teams and synchronized dance teams.

Teams competing this year represent 12 states: Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
