Slick road surfaces are to blame for several accidents today, including one involving a semi truck hitting a telephone pole, according to Butler County dispatchers.

The accident occurred on Millville Shandon Road outside Millville round 9:15 a.m.

Earlier, a pregnant woman was involved in a weather-related crash, according to local law enforcement. Medics responded to the crash involving a woman who is eight months pregnant on Ohio 4 north of Liberty Fairfield Road at around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday. Butler County dispatchers said the woman’s car was damaged, but she was not injured. No other serious accidents were reported elsewhere in the county earlier this morning.

Warren County dispatchers reported they had a couple cars slide into guardrails in Harlan Twp., but there are no injuries.

The National Weather Service out of Wilmington is forecasting light snow to continue throughout the morning hours, but will change to light rain or drizzle this afternoon. Less than a half an inch of accumulation is possible.
