Quality of life up for discussion at special meeting

The Booker T. Washington Community Center will host City Council and local residents for a special meeting Wednesday, March 17.

The special open session of council includes a two-hour discussion on “general city business,” including quality of life issues, according to the agenda.

The meeting takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. at the community center, located at 1140 S. Front St.

City Council’s next regularly scheduled meeting takes place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, in council chambers.
