Did I hear 'high paying jobs'?? Hmm, AK Steel paid high wages BEFORE the lockout. Today they are nothing more than middle of the road jobs. Maybe if you work in West Chester it's premium pay but just ask anybody who didn't have the seniority to retire during the lockout how 'great' working at AK it is. As for the 'be lucky you gotta job' comments. For some reason over 300 people who were eligible to come back found work SOMEWHERE ELSE. Believe it or not there is employement outside of AK Steel!!

I think this Coke Plant is a great idea. If it creates jobs, wonderful. For those complaining about the polution, realestate is cheap down south. Its called keeping your public employed!!!!By the way, eating fast food, having a microwave, cell phone, etc, all cause cancer. Should we go back to stone age

Educate yourself and realize money in exchange for wrecking health and environment is wrong. Tell AK Steel to purchase their coke on the open market. To be helpful here's the link Purchasing should reference.

I don't care what it costs to keep my home free from the dangers of pollution. It will be worth it. Ask my 3rd grader about pollution, she knows more than most 30 year olds. She was the one that first saw AK Steel and warned us! She is very smart.

This political bs is all well and good if you don't live directly northeast of the plant. If you live northeast of the plant, in the primary wind footprint, this plant mean an increase in cancer according to the EPA statistics. Lives vs Coke, is a price to high!
