MONROE — Monroe and Middletown firefighters extinguished a house fire in the 6800 block of Ohio 4 around 3:30 p.m. today, July 6.

The call came in to dispatchers around 3:15 p.m. Monroe Fire Chief Mark Neu said the fire started in clothing in the basement of the home. People were inside at the time but managed to escape unharmed. The fire was out around 4 p.m.

There was no visible fire damage outside, witnesses said. Damages are estimated at about $15,000.

You don't have to tell me anything. I can tell that you are just a "worker man" at the coke plant....Obvious there is no degree in your portfolio. Where will you go when the coke plant dries up? Hopefully back to school for an education.

Hey Todhunter, think we should tell Isis our jobs and the fact that we are helping bring Sun Coke to Monroe's back yard? OOPS I guess I already did.

Well said Britton, it's surprising how many people wish she would just shut up on that monroe site but they are just trying to tolerate her but I understand your thinking.

If you hear of someone house hunting in good ole Monroe, remind them to do what you did not do, drive on Todhunter rd and LOOK NORTH, them they will know what YOU should have known, a large steel company lurks in the valley, then they can't look ignorant as you do.
Now go cry on the voice.
By the way, to your surprise my degree is from Cleveland State University.
