HPD to test tornado sirens

HAMILTON — The Hamilton Police Department will be conducting tests of the tornado siren systems from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8.

Areas being tested include: (In Hamilton) the municipal building on High Street; Lincoln Elementary at North “E” Street and Gray Avenue; Monroe Elementary on Carriage Hill Lane; Hamilton High School on Eaton Avenue; St. Ann’s School, Hooven and Clinton avenues; Fire Station 25, North Erie Highway and Elm Street; Fire Station 27, Shuler and Bender avenues; city garage, South Erie Boulevard; McKinley School, Gersam and Westview avenues; (in Fairfield Township) Ohio 4 at Creekside Drive; Ohio 4 at Butler Tech Campus; Fairfield East Elementary and Courts of Praise Church, Morris Road; Tylersville Road near M and M Used Cars; New Miami Water Plant at U.S. 27; Darrtown Firehouse; Collinsville Firehouse; Somerville Firehouse; Seven Mile Firehouse; and Old Millville Firehouse, Ross-Hanover Road.
