From trains to trees to lights on the hill, the Hamilton area is serving up a plethora of events for the holiday season.
Holiday Lights on the Hill: 6 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 3, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park and Museum,
Christmas Walk: 5:30 to 10 p.m. Nov. 27-Dec. 30, at Niederman Farm, 4972 LeSourdsville-West Chester Drive, Liberty Twp. A free walk-through Christmas display with lights and Biblical displays. Walking path is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Free hot chocolate and cookies. Free entertainment in the barn.
The Nutcracker: Featuring the children of the Miami Valley Ballet Theatre. 7 p.m. Dec. 3-5; 2:30 p.m. Dec. 5-6.
Oxford Holiday Festival: Horse Drawn Carriage rides, school choruses, visits with Santa and watching the mayor light up Oxford. All children who visit with Santa will receive a gift, 6 p.m. Dec. 4, free. Uptown Parks, W. High St. at N. Main St., Oxford.
City of Hamilton night at Festival of Lights: 5 p.m. Dec. 5, $9 ages 13 and older, $6.50 ages 2-12. Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, 3400 Vine St., Cincinnati.
Holiday train display: Ned Holzerle uses his train hobby to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis and Christian Cooperative Nursery School. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 5-6, Adults $7, kids $5. 3088 Millville Oxford Road, Oxford. Free parking and shuttle available at Marshall Elementary School at 3260 Millville Oxford Road.
Christmas Walk in the Village: noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 6, free. German Village Historic District, Dayton and Third streets, Hamilton.
Breakfast with Santa Claus: Presented by Hamilton Parks and Recreation Department. For kids 12 and under with parent or guardian. Special holiday entertainment by Remy and Friends. Fairfield Breakfast with Santa: 9:30 or 11 a.m. Dec. 12 at Fairfield Community Arts Center Community Room, Wessel Drive. Santa hosts a breakfast for Fairfield children up to 8 years old. To register, call (513) 867-5348.
