Genealogy program set for Fairfield Women next week

FAIRFIELD — The Fairfield Women Club will present a genealogy lesson at its next meeting on Thursday, March 11.

The program, “Genealogy-Discovering Your Roots,” will be presented by Patrick Crippen, a trustee with the Ohio Genealogical Society.

The meeting will start at 11:15 a.m. with social time and a catered lunch will be served at noon.

For reservations, call Sue at (513) 858-6920 or suemcquire@fuse.net by Sunday, March 7. Baby-sitting will be available for a nominal fee.

Scholarship

In honor of Fairfield Women’s 50th anniversary, the organization will award a scholarship to a college-bound woman graduating from high school this year. For details and an application, visit www.fairfieldw.com.

Completed applications must be returned by April 16 to the Fairfield Community Foundation, 5350 Pleasant Ave.
