HAMILTON — It’s a wet commute today with light snow coming down throughout the morning.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington issued a hazardous weather outlook around 4:15 a.m. today for rain and snow showers until 1 p.m. Up to one inch of snow is possible but precipitation will change to only rain by the afternoon.

As of 7 a.m. the snow is light but expected to pick up slightly by mid-morning, according to the weather service. Today’s high temperature will reach 40 degrees with light winds of 10 mph.

The Butler and Warren County Sheriff’s offices report no trouble spots or accidents on the roadways this morning.
