The Hamilton JournalNews had several inquiries as to whether or not the annual fireworks event would go on due to rain and poor weather conditions. According to Parks and Recreation director Bob Harris around 9 p.m. Saturday, July 4, the fireworks display was still on for 10 p.m.
Plenty of spectators enjoyed the fireworks activities. See our complete Fourth of July photo gallery with photos from throughout Butler County at http://www.journal-news.com/go/july4th.

ill tell ya what, i have went to the fireworks almost every year and this year was the complete worst
it was a total waste of time, the grand finale sucked, lasted a whole 2 minutes.
now the reason being is i believe they WAS gonna be cancelled, but a few citizens or comapnies volunteered to donate money for fireworks and im guessing it wasnt nothing like any of the other years, THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HELPED KEEP IT GOING
