Bus route between Middletown and Hamilton starts Monday

Trips will cost $2 each way.

Bus service between Middletown and Hamilton will begin again on Monday, May 4. The hourlong route will travel mostly along Ohio 4 between bus hubs in both cities and cost $2 each way, officials said.

The northbound routes will run at 8:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

It will have eight stops: at Hanover and 14th streets in Hamilton; the Market Street Hub in Hamilton; High Street and Erie Highway in Hamilton; Princeton Road and Bypass Ohio 4 in Fairfield Twp.; Hamilton-Middletown and Liberty-Fairfield roads in Liberty Twp.; Hamilton-Middletown Road and Main Street in Middletown; Ninth Avenue and Yankee Road in Middletown; and the MTS Hub on Broad Street.

The southbound routes will go in reverse order from Middletown and will begin at 9:15 and 11:15 a.m., and at 2:15 and 4:15 p.m.

Officials said riders can also call to have the bus stop for them at a specific place along the route by calling (513) 785-5237.
