HAMILTON — Pfefferle Tire & Auto Service will expand into Hamilton with a new location at 990 Main St.

Chris Pfefferle, son of the owner and manager, said his family decided to open a new location after successfully running their original location in Fairfield for more than 16 years. As a distributor of Valvoline products, they decided the Hamilton area was a prime location in Butler County with little competition.

“We looked at a lot of locations and Valvoline felt Hamilton was best,” Pfefferle said. “It is a town with character and a solid background.”

The business will celebrate its grand opening April 5. It will include seven bays and lifts, two of which will be designated as “quick lube” bays, for speedy oil changes and tire rotations. This is one of the services that Pfefferle said sets their shop apart.

“If we have 10 people show up at the same time we can have them all done in an hour. And we will rotate their tires while they wait,” he said.

Pfefferle Tire will be adding about seven workers to the new location, and will employ a staff of about 18 people, including five automotive technicians. It will be a complete auto service center, including tires, brake work, suspensions and engine diagnostics.
