A gray Chrysler Sebring flipped onto its top in the middle of Eaton Avenue during a rush-hour crash that blocked the road in both directions.

The single-vehicle accident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at 212 Eaton Avenue.

The driver, Vicilla Shelton, 56, of Fairfield suffered minor injuries. She appears to have been driving eastbound on Eaton and struck a parked pickup truck, causing her to roll over, according to police on the scene.

Shelton said she doesn’t know what happened, and when the car rolled over a stranger came to her aid.

“I was just worried about catching on fire,” she said. “I just said, ‘Get my seatbelt off.’”

Shelton was cited for failure to control her vehicle.

She is a known drug dealer and user! Why wasn't she drug tested????

"Officer, I don't know why I hit a parked car! All I was doing was putting my makeup on looking in the mirror as I was texting my friend. So strange!"

Hey not heartless,

It's actually "from" not "form". You should edit your own material next time genius.

"heartless" would be to point out how stupid she was for hitting a parked car...*IF* she was seriously hurt. I hate the "compassion police" who want to tell people what to say in their comments! You must be an Obamite to want to control the minds and speech of everyone.
