TRENTON — There’s a new pizza restaurant on the scene in Trenton.

Little Caesars has opened a 1,400-square-foot restaurant at 942 W. State St. in the Trenton Crossings Shopping Center. Trenton is already home to Cassano’s, Domino’s and Richards Pizza.

Brad Potter, 29, co-owns the restaurant — and other Little Caesar locations in Middletown Tecumseh, Mich. — along with his dad, Bruce, and brother, Eric.

“I had actually made a lot of phone calls to businesses and stuff and they sounded excited about Little Caesars coming in,” he said.

Potter said one of the reasons his family decided to locate the restaurant in Trenton is because of its hometown feel.

“It’s nice it’s a tight-knit community and they seem to want to support their local businesses. Even though it’s a smaller community relative to Middletown, it seems to be growing even if it’s a slow growth, it’s still growing, and that’s good to see especially in this economy,” he said.

“And we’re looking to expand as much as possible,” Potter said. “We hope to be putting in another new location (in Springboro) here pretty soon.”

John Jones, Trenton’s city manager, said the city was told 38 of the restaurant’s 40 employees at the Trenton site are from the community.

He said the city will benefit greatly by Little Caesars locating there.

“On behalf of the council and administration, we are always please when employment opportunities are created. In addition, Little Caesars gives our residents more choices and creates competition in our city,” he said.

Store hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. For more information, call (513) 988-9100.

Wendy's would be a much better choice for Trenton than another pizza place. If I want pizza there is Richards and Cassanos. I don't even know how Dominos survives, must be the rent from the great chinesse resturant next door.

Another food choice in Trenton is welcome. I love pizza all brands. Price and customer service is my deciding factor. Competition is good for "we'the customers. I welcome Little Ceasers to Trenton.

I love coming on here and seeing all the negative things people have to say. It must be a rough life to see nothing but negativity all the time.

This company has created jobs for young people and are tax paying citizens. I would love to meet you people at Little Ceaser's when you (and I bet you will) walk into to order a cheap fast pizza. I'd smack you right upside the head.
