Gas prices fall again in Miami Valley

Gas prices have gone down again in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley.

Average retail gas prices in Dayton have dropped 11.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $1.97 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 391 gas outlets in Dayton.

This compares with the national average that has fallen 1.8 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.21 a gallon, according to GasBuddy.com.

According to GasBuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of gas in Dayton is $1.97, with prices stable. The cheapest gas, as of this morning, is $1.82 at Sam's Club on Miller Lane.

In Hamilton, the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.05, with prices stable. The cheapest gas is $1.89 at Five Points Market on Grand Blvd. near Tylersville Road.

In Springfield, the average price for a gallon of gas is $1.97, with prices stable. The cheapest gas is $1.98 at Marathon at Moorefield Road and Security Drive.
