ORIGINAL REPORT: 4:51 p.m Monday, Sept. 18, 2017

Tylersville Road is closed at Pepper Pike in West Chester due to a gas main break, according to township officials.

Construction crews hit the line, which is about half a mile east of the intersection of Tylersville and Cox roads, while performing utility work at Voice of America MetroPark, officials said.

Motorists should choose another route of travel as officials said they are unsure of how long Tylersville will be closed.

Anyone smelling the odor of gas in homes or businesses in the Tylersville Road area is asked to call West Chester Twp. at 513-777-2231
