Free pizza at Butler County restaurant’s grand opening

Rapid Fired Pizza’s new location at 3583 Dixie Highway in Middletown is scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with 500 pizzas given away free to the public, according to franchisees Zach and Kevin Ketring.

At 4,000 square feet, the Middletown store is one of the largest in the Kettering-based chain and includes seven 50-inch televisions and ample seating, along with a wide variety of local craft beer and domestic beers.

“We are hoping to have a massive turnout for the grand opening,” Ketring said. “Our team has worked hard to prepare for this.”

Rapid Fired Pizza is a fast-casual concept that features fresh made, 11-inch thin crust and 9-inch pan pizzas cooked in 180 seconds.

Customers can choose from eight sauces, eight cheeses, more than 30 toppings and 14 dipping sauces to build their desired pizza, or try one of the 10 craft pizzas on the menu. Made-to-order craft and custom salads are also available in addition to bread sticks, desserts and the new No-Doh Pizza for customers counting carbohydrates.
