Police blotter: Fencing ripped from home

Sept. 26

About five pieces of a fence were ripped out sometime overnight Sept. 24 in the 300 block of North C Street.

A Rumpke recycling bin was stolen sometime overnight Sept. 25 in the 700 block of Schwarz Drive.

Sept. 27

Several pieces of jewelry, a laptop computer, a safe containing a coin collection two handguns, an AR15 rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun were stolen between 6 a.m. and 10:18 p.m. from a residence in the 2700 block of Hilda Avenue.

Several skids of scrap steel valued at $450 were stolen from behind the company property sometime between Sept. 11 and Sept. 27 from Konylak, 400 Vine St.

A cell phone was stolen about about 8 a.m. from a residence in the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue.

Sept. 28

Someone used the debit card account information from an account owned by a resident in the 1200 block of Cadillac Drive to make two $50 transactions about 3:57 a.m. at Walmart.com. However, one of the transactions did not go through.

A cell phone was stolen between 12:15 and 12:45 p.m. while a customer was at the U.S. Post Office, 105 Court St.

Someone pushed a bicycle into a vehicle and caused scratches and dents to the rear passenger side door while the vehicle was parked between 3:15 and 3:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Fair Avenue.

An assault was reported between 10 and 10:30 p.m. at a residence in the 100 block of Knapp Drive.

The driver’s side window of a pick-up truck was broken out and the stereo and equalizer was stolen and the dashboard was damaged while the vehicle was parked overnight in the 700 block of Rigdon Street.

Someone entered the sliding window of the cab of a pickup truck that was parked overnight in the 1200 block of Oakmont Avenue. Once inside, they unlocked the driver’s door and removed the golf clubs.
