A woman killed in a fiery crash last Friday in Hamilton has been identified by the Butler County Coroner’s Office.

Deanna Gilreath, 58, of Hamilton, died in the motor vehicle crash and her death was ruled an accident, according to the coroner’s office.

The Jeep Liberty SUV driven by Gilreath was rear-ended by a concrete bucket truck driving westbound on Ohio 129 (High Street) at Fair Avenue at about 2 p.m., according to police.

The vehicle caught fire and bystanders attempted to help Gilreath get out of the SUV, but it was engulfed in flames and they were not successful in their efforts, police said.
