LIBERTY TWP. — A 21-year-old Liberty Twp. man was cited following a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 Friday morning.
Around 7:30 a.m., Christopher Smith was merging onto northbound I-75 from Ohio 129 when he lost control in the curve and slid across four lanes of traffic, said Trooper Curtis Bryant of Ohio Highway Patrol.
Bryant said Smith’s Honda Civic struck two sports utility vehicles — a Chevrolet Avalanche driven by Howard Bruning, 60, of Milford and a Volvo XC60 driven by Rossybel Frescoln, 33, of Cincinnati.
Smith was treated and released from Atrium Medical Center. He was cited for failure to control.
Bruning and Rossybel were not injured.
While trying to avoid the accident, a minor two-vehicle crash occurred nearby on I-75. A semi-truck and sedan were involved but no one was injured.
