Investigators were tipped off when citizens called the police for suspicious people around the homes. Patrol units responded to the area and apprehended two of the juveniles. Those arrests led to the other juveniles and recovered much of the stolen property.
Police said search warrants served at multiple locations resulted in the recovery of a large percentage of property ranging from electronics, jewelry, and other family heirloom items. Theft victims will be contacted to identify the property.
An exact value of the property stolen has yet to be determined.
The charges are felonies and pre-trials for seven juveniles are set at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12. They will appear before Butler County Juvenile Court Judge Kathleen Romans.
