HAMILTON — A New Miami man is recovering from stab wounds today, Sept. 22, that he suffered Monday afternoon in the city’s West Side.
Phillip Vinson, 27, of Seven Mile Road, received puncture wounds to his upper arm and left abdomen at about 4:30 p.m. while walking in the area of Wasserman Road and Ramsey Drive, according to Officer Richard Burkhardt.
Vinson was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital, according to police. Hospital officials declined to release information about his condition today.
The victim told police that he was walking on Wasserman Road to Marsh grocery store when he was approached by several people and one of them stabbed him, police said Monday night.
Detectives are investigating the incident.
