HAMILTON — Ohio 128 was briefly shutdown Wednesday night, Oct. 21, for what police believed to be a store robbery.

A Hamilton police officer on patrol observed what he thought was a person entering Circle K convenience store with a gun at about 10:30 p.m., according to Sgt. Tom Kilgour, public affairs supervisor. Investigation indicated there was no robbery attempt.

The 200-yard section of the roadway was closed for about 10 minutes as Hamilton police appeared to be looking for a suspect.
