About $300 was taken from bank cards that were stolen between Jan. 24 and Jan. 26 from a resident in the 2600 block of Madison Avenue.
While arresting a person on warrants from Hamilton Municipal Court at 6:18 a.m. Jan. 22 in the 400 block of North Fair Avenue, a police officer was assaulted by the suspect. During the altercation, the officer was able to use her chemical spray to subdue and arrest the suspect. The report was filed Jan. 27.
Two women reported being assaulted about 11:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Gordon Smith Boulevard.
A woman reported being struck by a stray bullet fired by an unknown suspect while she was in the area of South Front and Chestnut streets between 10:25 and 10:30 p.m.
The center console window switch of a vehicle that was parked overnight in the 1800 block of Pleasant Avenue was damaged during an overnight break-in. Some personal papers belonging to the owner were reported missing.

Eight dinner plates, a laptop computer and a digital camera were taken between Jan. 24 and Jan. 27 during a burglary of a residence in the 0 to 100 block of Ohio Avenue.

Someone took a catalytic converter off of a vehicle parked overnight in the first block of Fallwood Drive.
A woman who was being evicted returned to the residence in the 1700 block of Pleasant Avenue about 9 a.m. and found that two televisions, two DVD players, assorted jewelry, a jewelry box, cosmetic items, several small children’s Christmas toys, and assorted family photo items and keepsakes were missing.
A catalytic converter was taken from a car while it was parked overnight in the 3100 block of Stillwater Lane. The value of the item was listed at $700.
A flat screen television, a Wii game system and games, a netbook, a laptop computer and miscellaneous video games were taken during a burglary between 6 and 8:45 p.m.
A box containing tools and a land surveying total station were taken between 6 and 7:30 p.m. from the back of a pickup truck parked in the 1400 block of Main Street. The value of the missing items was listed at $13,350.
A resident in the first block of Teresa Court said a person used the garage door code without permission to enter the residence and assault him between 5:45 and 5:55 p.m.
A woman reported being struck in the head twice about 5:37 p.m. on New London Road.
A digital camera was taken between midnight and 3 p.m. from a residence in the 900 block Campbell Avenue.
Prescription medication was taken between 2:40 and 3:05 from a residence in the 2000 block of Logan Avenue.
A Nintendo game system and accessories were taken after 9:20 a.m. from a vehicle that was parked in the 1000 block of Eaton Avenue
