Police, parents searching for missing Butler County teen

Fairfield police and the parents of a 16-year-old girl reported missing since Friday are searching for her, and they believe she may be in an unknown location with her 21-year-old boyfriend, according to police.

Darcy Robinson of Liberty Twp. filed a missing persons report Saturday, one day after her daughter, Madison Lawson, was seen leaving her father’s residence in Fairfield, according to Officer Doug Day.

Robinson said her daughter hasn’t been seen or heard from since Friday. She also hasn’t used social media, her mother said.

“I don’t know who has her,” Robinson said. “I’m about to lose it.”

Robinson said she just wants to hear from her daughter and know she’s safe.

Lawson, a student at Career Readiness Academy in the Lakota School District, is described as 5-foot-2, 110 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes, her mother said.

Anyone with information about Lawson’s whereabouts are asked to call Fairfield Sgt. Pete Lagemann at 513-896-8246.
