Police: Hamilton man cuts off body part, slices stomach

Hamilton police say a man harmed himself by cutting off his penis and slicing open his stomach early Sunday morning.

The man used a pair of scissors to inflict the injuries between 1 a.m. and 1:15 a.m., according to the police report.

Officers arrived, disarmed the individual, and Hamilton Fire Department personnel treated him and transported him to the hospital, according Lt. John Nethers.
