On Saturday, David Young, 67, of Ironton, Mo., and Tim Callahan, 44, of Polosi, Mo., were arrested by the county unit and officers from the Hamilton Twp. Police Department.

The search for one of two men wanted in a double homicide in Missouri ended on Saturday at a motel in Warren County, according to court records.

David Young, 67, of Ironton, Mo., was arrested at the Best Western at 9665 Mason-Montgomery Road in Deerfield Twp., according to a search warrant filed in Warren County Common Pleas Court.

The Warren County Tactical Response team learned from a Goshen man that Young had no car and was “currently sleeping in the hotel room”, according to the warrant returned Wednesday.

On Saturday, Young and Tim Callahan, 44, of Polosi, Mo., were arrested by the county unit and officers from the Hamilton Twp. Police Department.

Young and Callahan were held in the Warren County Jail as fugitives from justice, pending extradition to Missouri.

They were interviewed by investigators from the Reynolds County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri Highway Patrol.

They waived their extradition in separate hearings on Tuesday and are headed back to Missouri.
