Man arrested after stolen vehicle found

Dayton Police arrested one man after they uncovered a vehicle stolen from a Franklin car dealership in his possession.

Timothy McCullough, 58, is in the Montgomery County Jail facing charges of receiving stolen property after police found a stolen 2013 Cadillac SUV, according to the police report.

An anonymous caller alerted police to a vehicle with dealer plates that had been parking at the apartment complex at 42 E. Helena St. Police ran the plates and confirmed the vehicle was registered to the Jeff Wyler dealership in Fairfield, where it had been reported missing since April 26, according to reports.

Police located McCullough in the apartment building and arrested him. He is currently in Montgomery County jail and will appear in court Monday afternoon.
