Middletown police are reminding residents of a long-standing curfew for juveniles in the city.

Middletown enforces curfew the summer

Police Chief Rodney Muterspaw said the city’s juvenile curfew is used as a tool to question young people who may be up to mischief and to keep them safe.

“Last year going into June we had 94 juvenile arrests,”Muterspaw said. “This year going into June they are up to 186. That is a big jump. Got to fix this.”
