Peeler sentenced Cross to seven years in prison, to be served consecutively to a nine-year sentence involving a Trenton teen. He pleaded guilty March 23 before Butler County Common Pleas Court Judge Noah Powers to rape and minor in nudity material. The rimes occurred in October 2016 and the spring of 2015, prosecutors said.

That case led investigators to uncover information leading his second conviction today.

Cross is being held in the London Correctional Institution. He also is labeled a Tier III sexual offender, meaning that once he is released he will have to register his address every 30 days with his local sheriff for the rest of his life.
