Erion contacted the girl who lived in Clearcreek Twp. in Warren County during the summer of 2014 through the Whisper app, and built a relationship using that and another app and texting.
In December 2014, they began meeting, including at the victim’s home, where they engaged in sexual conduct. They also exchanged “sexually explicit photographs,” according to the press release issued Thursday.
In the fall of 2015, the girl’s mother found a phone Erion had given her and contacted the Clearcreek Twp. police. Evidence was gathered from his electronic devices and he was charged in Warren County Common Pleas Court.
In January, Erion pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and pandering obscenity involving a minor.
After serving his prison term, Erion will be required to report as a sexual offender every six months for 25 years.
