Deputies in Preble County who pulled over a 39-year-old man wanted for not appearing in court on drug charges said today that they again found drugs.
Deputies stopped Clint E. Minter in the 400 block of Stover Road on Dec. 15. He had a suspended license, and a warrant for his arrest in Butler County, according to a news release posted today on their Facebook page.
During Minter’s arrest, the sheriff’s office said deputies found suspected methamphetamine in his jacket pocket, and inside his vehicle they found a loaded .38 caliber revolver under the driver’s seat. When he was taken to the Preble County Jail, they found suspected marijuana hidden in his underwear, according to the sheriff’s office.
Minter was charged through Eaton Municipal Court with five felonies: having weapons under disability (for a prior drug conviction); illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility; carrying a concealed weapon; improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle; and aggravated possession of drugs. He also was charged with a misdemeanor for possessing drug paraphernalia. He remains held without bond in the Preble County Jail.
A woman riding in Minter’s vehicle was cited for marijuana possession and released.
